Hosted at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus, this daylong event invites high school students to strengthen their leadership skills and discover how they can actively participate in civic life.
The goal of Civic Leadership Day is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and network needed to become leaders in their communities. After the event, students will spend four weeks identifying an issue in their community and crafting a solution. They will work with mentors who provide virtual guidance and support through the process. Students return to Fordham University to present their solutions and share their ideas with local council members, community leaders, and activists.
