Manhattan for the Holidays: Wainwrights Return!

Rufus and Martha Wainwright return to New York Citys Town Hall on December 6 for their annual holiday benefit concert continuing a beloved family tradition inspired by the legendary McGarrigle Wainwright holiday shows. Joined by special guests Cyndi Lauper Alice Phorbe Lou Loudon Wainwright III Lucy Wainwright Roche and more the evening will feature festive favorites family classics and unforgettable collaborations. Proceeds benefit The Kate McGarrigle Fund and Folk Cancer The Kate McGarrigle Project both honoring Rufus and Martha Wainwrights mother. Murmrr Commission No 003 features acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Laurie Simmons with a specially selected artwork exploring ideas of home family memory and the recurring image of the house and castle. Proceeds from the sale of the artwork will go directly to Folk Cancer The Kate McGarrigle Project.
